Helen Vincent Vick, 83, of Roanoke Rapids, died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Kindred Transistional Health Care in Roanoke Rapids.

Helen was a native of Northampton County, the daughter of the late Jesse Paul Vincent and Beulah Wheeler Vincent. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Charlie Vick, and two sons, Earl and Danny Vick.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce V. Baird and her husband, Tommy, of Littleton; her son, Steve Vick and his wife, Dorothy, of Roanoke Rapids; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids is handling the arrangements, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 5, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Chapel services will then be held at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

The family would like to give special thanks to Kindred for the loving attention given to Mrs. Vick.
